Ravi is an accomplished leader specializing in strategic business development, consulting and product development in the global sports industry. Ravi’s 15-year professional career has taken him across 40+ countries, both as a professional tennis player and a business leader. Ravi’s in-depth knowledge of the industry and penchant for constructing strategic, result-oriented solutions backed by meticulous execution, has enabled him to build and deliver successful partnerships with major industry verticals.

In 2007, after completing his stint with IMG Consulting in New York, Ravi was hand-picked by IMG global top management to help set up and execute the strategic roadmap for the IMG-Reliance JV in India, which included formulating commercial leagues and grassroots initiatives with both the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) and the All India Football Federation (AIFF). Ravi also played in integral role in successfully launching the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), the world’s first professional tennis league organized across five Asian countries, that featured the greatest ATP and WTA talents.

At Global Sports Commerce (GSC), Ravi has taken on numerous leadership roles including delivering a unified global vision and strategy for GSC; successfully helped raise Private Equity funding from KKR-backed Emerald Asia; spearheaded the concept-to-delivery of two technology products. Since mid-2017, as the Head of Nanoyotta Technologies (a subsidiary of GSC), Ravi has been in charge of developing a range of real-time analytics products that uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize brand and fan data-science for stakeholders in the industry. Ravi, backed by an exceptionally talented team, was successful in recently launching Maplytiks, which fosters a smarter commercial sponsorship ecosystem for the sports and entertainment industry.

Ravi continues to enjoy playing tennis albeit recreationally these days, and spends his leisure time catching up on the latest sports technology innovations and on his favorite sports team – the San Antonio Spurs.
