Manny Spanoudakis

Regional General Manager - Sports and Entertainment Solutions Group @ Cisco

Manny is the Regional General Manager of Cisco’s Sports and Entertainment Solutions Group (SESG) across Asia Pacific, Japan & China (APJC).

He is responsible for the SESG across APJC including the development and management of the overall business strategy and execution plan. Manny is engaged on a daily basis with the senior executives, board members and key stakeholders of the various stadiums, Leagues, management companies and Trusts across the region.

Since assuming the role in early 2011, Manny has engaged at a strategic business level with numerous sporting including the (FFA, AFL, NRL, J League and JFA) professional sporting franchises, stadiums/arenas and industry stakeholders across the region. Manny continues to work closely with senior management at some of the most iconic stadiums and venues within the APJC region including, new Perth Stadium, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne Olympic & Parks Trust, Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium (Sydney), ANZ Stadium, Metricon Stadium, Suncorp Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Victorian Racing Club, Eden Park, Etihad Stadium (Melbourne), Forsyth Barr Stadium (NZ), Seibu- Dome (Tokyo), Rakuten Kobo Stadium (Sendei, Japan) Philippines Arena, Singapore Sports Hub, Singapore Turf Club, Dalian Arena (China) and Hong Kong Jockey Club to name a few.

Manny brings over 24 years of ICT experience to Cisco and our clients. He joined Cisco as an Account Director in 2007, working in the Enterprise Go-To-Market’s (GTM) with particular focus on the Professional Services Industry. He was responsible for numerous major successes in accounts including PwC, Mallesons, Minter Ellison, Blake Dawson, BlueScope Steel and CSR. Prior to Cisco, Manny worked for over 18 years as a Senior Executive at Unisys Australia and at Telstra/KAZ with particular focus on the Sports Industry.

Since assuming the General Managers role for SESG, Manny has actively engaged in Sports Industry events and forums. Manny graduated with qualifications in Electronics Engineering in 1988. More recently, Manny completed Post Graduate Degree in Sports Management at the University of Technology, Sydney.
