Dean of the EEMCS @ University of Twente
Joost Kok has worked at the Free University in Amsterdam, at the Centre for Mathematics and Computer Science in Amsterdam, at Utrecht University, and at the Åbo Akademi University (Finland). Since 1995 he is Professor in Computer Science and since 2005 also Professor in Medicine at Leiden University. In 2018 he became the Dean of the EEMCS (Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science) Faculty of Twente University. In 2016 he initiated the Sport Data Center, a national initiative, that provides research e-infrastructure and where a large number of projects around sports and movement is carried out.
