Duccio Ferrari Bravo was born In Milan in 1973. After a Bachelor Degree, obtained in 2001 at Milan’ Motor Science Institute (ISEF) and a Master Degree obtained in 2003 at the Faculty of Motor Science at the University of Studies in Milan with a thesis about “Training and Assessment in Soccer”. In 2007, at the same University, Duccio Ferrari Bravo obtains a PhD title in Exercise’s Physiology with a thesis about “Repeated Sprint Ability in Soccer”. In 2002 he attains the Professional Fitness Coach license at the Technical Center of Italian Football Federation (FIGC) in Coverciano.
During his studies Duccio also starts his experience as a fitness coach in semi-professional and professional clubs; he is also involved in research activities at the Mapei Sport Service, specializing in assessment and training methodology collaborating with various Clubs. He also publishes some papers in international scientific journals.
In 2007 Duccio Ferrari Bravo joins Juventus Football Club, were he works with the Youth Division as a Fitness Coach, becoming, eventually, Responsible for the Fitness Area. Between 2011 and 2014 Duccio has been working as Assistant Fitness Coach with the First Team, as well as Training Check Coordinator and Chief of Fitness Coaches in the Youth Division.
The last two years and currently holds the positions of: Head of Strength for the Club and the First Team, Chief of youth division fitness coaches and Training Check Coordinator.
During his activity of Fitness Coach he also collaborates as a lecturer of methodology at a number of Universities and master courses, as well as seminars organized by the Italian Sports Federations and Scientific Committees.
